Yahoo! Widget Engine, formerly known as Konfabulator, is a JavaScript runtime engine which allows users to have small programs or Widgets on desktop. The software supports advanced graphics, so the standard windowing is not necessary for the widgets.
It is simple to create your own widgets for the use of Yahoo! Widget Engine. The widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, Wi-Fi signal indicators, weather information, or anything you can come up with.
