Notepad2 is a fast and light, yet very versatile text editor based on Scintilla. It is written with Microsoft Notepad in mind, thus aimed to be a very small, fast and usable text editor.
Colour coding is supported genuinely for ASP, Assembly, C, C++, C#, CGI, CSS, HTML, Java, JavaScript, NSIS, Pascal, Perl, PHP, Python, SQL, VB, VBScript, XHTML and XML. Additional support for Lua, NSIS, Ruby, ABAP and Powershell are also available through different modifications. Other modifications include support for 64-bit platforms and features for file encryptions.
Notepad2 has also such small work-easing features such as transparent mode and always on top -option. It also has auto indentation and regex-based find and replace tool.
