Lagarith Lossless Video Codec v1.3.27

Lagarith is a lossless video codec that is extremely useful for video editing and storage. Codec has been designed to balance between speed and video compression ratio.

Unlike mainstream codecs, lossless codecs consume more storage space, but as the name implies, they don't lose any video quality at all, unlike their mainstream "lossy" counterparts (such as AVC, MPEG-2, etc). While lossless codecs aren't exactly practical for distributing video online, they are used often as intermediate formats when editing the video (i.e. during the video editing process all the saving is done using lossless codec and only the finished end result is then converted into less space consuming lossy format, such as AVC).

This version of Lagarith codec includes a Windows installer for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the codec. Codec can be used to encode (create) and decode (play/open) Lagarith -encoded video files.
