PC Monitor Expert is a tool you can use to monitor the use of a computer secretly, intended to be used to track use by kids etc.
It can do things like record keystrokes, record chats from popular IM clients, take screenshots of running apps regularly, record opened apps and so on.
You can also use it to prohibit certain software from being run, such as IM clients and prevent certain operations like software downloads.
WARNING: There are two important things to remember about this software. The first and most obvious is it is intended for legitimate purposes, such as controlling your children's Internet usage and keeping an eye on their interaction with others. Using this software against an individual (including even children in some places) without their knowledge is ILLEGAL.
The second thing to remember is that some security software may find this process malicious because it is recording activity.
